Terms of Use

1. Agreement and authorized use

By accessing MasterlineIQ (“MIQ,” the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use. MIQ is a private business operations platform. You may use it only if an authorized organization has invited you and granted you access. If you use MIQ for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to follow that organization’s instructions and policies.

2. Accounts and roles

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Your administrator may assign or change your role, permissions, work assignments, inbox access, and integration access. You may not share an account or use another person’s account.

3. Service functions

Depending on your permissions, MIQ may let you manage customers, work orders, estimates, invoices, products and services, service-professional assignments, service check-in and check-out records, internal communications, and shared email. MIQ may also exchange data with services selected by your organization, including Google Workspace, QuickBooks Online, identity providers, and Discord.

4. Organization data

Your organization controls the business data it connects to or enters in MIQ. You may access and change that data only as authorized by your role and your organization. Your organization is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and retention instructions that apply to its data, including customer, accounting, email, time, and location records.

5. Third-party services

Connected services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You authorize MIQ to send, retrieve, synchronize, and store information through those services as needed to provide the features your organization enables. MIQ does not control the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use MIQ to:

• break any law or violate another person’s rights;
• access data or functions outside your assigned permissions;
• introduce malicious code, disrupt the Service, or attempt to bypass security controls;
• copy, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly authorized; or
• send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications.

7. Service time and location records

When enabled, service-professional check-in and check-out may record time and device-provided location. Use these features only for legitimate work purposes, with required notices and permissions. Users must not falsify time or location records.

8. Confidentiality and security

MIQ may contain confidential customer, employee, operational, financial, and communications data. You must handle that information according to your organization’s policies and applicable law. Notify your administrator immediately if a device, account, or record may have been compromised.

9. Ownership and feedback

MIQ and its software, design, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service while you remain authorized. If you provide feedback, we may use it to improve MIQ without restriction or compensation.

If you intentionally publish an automation to the Automation Exchange, you grant MIQ and other authorized users permission to copy, adapt, install, and run that community listing. Do not publish confidential information, customer data, credentials, or content you do not have permission to share. MIQ removes configured recipients and chat links before publication, but you remain responsible for reviewing the listing.

MIQ points recognize participation and successful automation use. Points have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be adjusted to correct abuse, errors, or duplicate activity.

10. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep MIQ reliable, but the Service may occasionally be unavailable. Administrators should verify important financial and operational records in the relevant source system when appropriate.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIQ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. MIQ is an operations tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, employment, insurance, lending, investment, or payment-processing advice or services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIQ and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the amount paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated if you lose authorization, violate these terms, create security or legal risk, or if your organization requests it. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
